International Mission Opportunities

The Adebisi’s

Our Story

Bola & Aimee Adebisi have been married for 26 years. They are proud parents of three grown

children. The Adebisi’s have been organizing and leading medical mission trips for over 18 years.

They have also served as lead pastors in Pennsylvania and Nigeria. Bola and Aimee have a

deep love for God and a huge heart for people.

Born in northern Nigeria, Bola accepted Christ in 1983 as a teenager in high school. He started traveling to other high schools sharing the love of Jesus. After graduating from high school he attended All Nations for Christ Bible School Benin City and then attended University of the Nations (YWAM) in The Netherlands and Cape Town, South Africa.

Bola & Aimee met while attending school in Cape Town and got married right after school. Together they founded International Missions Opportunities (IMO) a medical missions ministry that brings medical and non-medical volunteers to Africa to provide free surgeries and medical care to the underserved.

Since 2003 they have been recruiting volunteer doctors, surgeons, dentists, and other healthcare professionals as well as non-medical volunteers to conduct overseas medical projects in areas where healthcare is limited or difficult to obtain. They provide free surgeries, medical and dental care to underserved people in Nigeria.

Bola was first introduced to medical missions by organizations called “Pro-Health” and “FaithCare” in 2001. During his first medical mission trip, he remembers being overwhelmed by the needs of the thousands of people who don't have access to medical help. He came back home and told his wife about his experience. It was then that they knew they needed to do something about it.

Bola later served as International Director for “FaithCare". In this role, they were responsible for

setting up medical projects in Africa and the Caribbean. In 2009 they founded International

Mission Opportunities built on that initial passion to provide care for the neediest.

Our Mission

Our mission is simple: to help as many people as possible by providing medical assistance. Our philosophy? There’s nothing more fulfilling than helping other people.

Our goal is to help as many people as we possibly can, by providing life changing medical help.  We are a small organization with very little overheads. Everyone involved is a volunteer who helps with either  fundraising, or the actual missions (often both!).
